A hardfacing electrode for hard surfaces subject to pressure, impact, abrasion, corrosion, erosion, metal-to-metal friction, and heat up to 900°C. Used for valve shutters and caps, wood-working tools, saw chains and slideways, hot shear blades, pump components, hot pressing tools, valve seats, ingot tong ends, and conveyor screws. Also used in the chemical and food industries.

Recommended for welding cutting tools, screw conveyors, valves, milling and mixing equipment, drilling tools, wear rings, and guide rails or rollers in steel mills.

A hardfacing electrode alloyed with Cr, C, W, Mo, Fe, Si, Mn, and high nickel, suitable for overlaying and building up hot-work tooling. Highly resistant to heat, impact, and thermal shock — used on dies and forging machines, hot punches, forging dies, and hot shear blades. The weld deposit work-hardens further in service. Very suitable for reconditioning hot mandrels in pipe mills.
