Used for valve shutters and caps, wood-working tools, saw chains and slideways, hot shear blades, pump components, hot pressing tools, valve seats, ingot tong ends, and conveyor screws. Also used in the chemical and food industries.

Hardfacing Electrode for Hot Forging Dies
Covered Electrode
A hardfacing electrode alloyed with Cr, C, W, Mo, Fe, Si, Mn, and high nickel, suitable for overlaying and building up hot-work tooling. Highly resistant to heat, impact, and thermal shock — used on dies and forging machines, hot punches, forging dies, and hot shear blades. The weld deposit work-hardens further in service. Very suitable for reconditioning hot mandrels in pipe mills.
