High-Manganese Steel Electrode for Pre-Hardfacing Rebuild

Product Information

An electrode for repairing and rebuilding components before hardsurfacing, such as railway track, mill hammers, rollers, and crushers, thanks to its high manganese steel content. Can also be used to weld between cast iron and steel. Resists cracking, abrasion, impact, corrosion, pressure, cavitation, and extreme shock — the weld deposit work-hardens further in service. AISI grades: 420, 430, 430T, 431, 440, 502, 405, 410.

Application

Railway track, mill hammers, rollers, and crushers, prior to hardsurfacing.
