High-Manganese Hardfacing Wire for Mining & Steel (MIG)

MIG Hardfacing Wire

The most widely used high-manganese steel hardfacing electrode for overlaying various equipment exposed to impact, shock, friction, and pressure. Typically used in the coal and cement mining industries, and in steel. Highly resistant to heavy impact and friction — the weld metal work-hardens further in service. An initial layer with Starlet 717 E is recommended for good bonding and crack protection in thick-layer welding.
